Here is some food for thought and some eye candy, too!

Wilma's wall hanging has diagonal chained vines following the colors, and veins in the appliquéd leaves. Stunning, isn't it?
Gretchen does great quilts. She likes batiks.
Peggy's quilt has wreath variations superimposed over each of the stars.
How cute is this? Janette's colorful kites fly amid streaming ribbons and "sky" quilting.
More feathers and wreaths for Charlene. (I guess I'm partial to them.)
Louise's quilt is all basted (with pink thread) and ready for her hand quilting. She did a sampler of gorgeous 3-D flowers.
David and Judy asked me to machine quilt their forty year-old cross-stiched attic treasure.

Nancy asked for a nice holly border (top photo), while Kathi wanted feathers and leaves (second from top).

Kay's appliquéd border is embellished with machine quilted leaves and flowers and twisted ribbons (second from bottom photo).

Terri has a simple wishbone border (bottom photo).

This is a sample of fantasy flowers. Each row is done in multiple colors.
Peggy's quilt, pictured on the left, is pieced and quilted in the same style as a precious antique quilt made by her grandmother, on the right.
This was fun - Lori's appliquéd surfboards, front and back views.
Bev's butterflies. Here is a nice way to finish appliqué—outline the motif and add simple embellishment.
