	A first grade class in New York City made wonderful self-portraits, which were assembled for a fundraising auction. It was quilted using a simple meander throughout. From the Watermarks exhibit of Maine artists Gayle Fraas and Duncan Slade, wherein each letter of the signal flag alphabet was artistically explored. Pictured here are wholecloth quilts of photoreactive dyes printed on cotton. I did all-over freehand stitching for them.
