A first grade class in New York City made wonderful self-portraits, which were assembled into a quilt for a fundraising auction. It was quilted using a simple meander throughout.
From the Watermarks exhibit of Maine artists Gayle Fraas and Duncan Slade, wherein each letter of the signal flag alphabet was artistically explored. Pictured here is a wholecloth quilt of photoreactive dyes printed on cotton. I did all-over freehand stitching for them.
